The map below shows the two attractions we ticket and how they sit around the city. Wawel Royal Castle stands on its hill above the Vistula, a fifteen-minute walk south of the Main Square. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is out to the south-east, about 13 km from the centre — a short train ride from Kraków Główny to Wieliczka Rynek-Kopalnia.
